In December 2009, the new UBC strategy, Place and Promise, was released, after strong consultation with UBC communities, internal and external. The plan provided a vision for UBC in the year 2020, and included nine commitments, each with its own specific goals and actions, designed to ensure UBC reached this vision.
The Community Engagement website is designed to provide an interactive forum to track the development of the Community Engagement strategic plan, and provide the members of the UBC Vancouver campus an opportunity to provide input and feedback on its development.
